Dear Anton,
 
I would be inclined to put in a couple of lag screws after closed reduction. May have to reposition the most proximal pin from the fixator. If there is a failure for union, then will think about secondary procedures. At the age of 44 years will have to warn patient about possibility for further intervention in future.
