I HAVE FEW CASES WITH THE METAL ONE AND FEW WITH THE ABSORBABLE. OVERALL I
AM HAPPY WTH THE results in kids-remember to take out the metal. In adults
one of the metal inserts broke after 18 month. I did it for Tib post
insufficiency instead of calcaneal osteotomy and am also happy. I use to
take the metal out, the absorbable(gianini's ones-STRYKER) stay. In some way
I learned it Italy and did not use the American one.
