Хотя это непосредственно и не касается обсуждаемого клинического случая, но думаю, что у ТС-ра придуманных Киршнером спиц как раз и не было:“Historical perspective.
In 1909, Kirschner used 3.5-6.0 mm diameter wires for skeletal traction of the lower extremity, employing a variety of telescoping drills and impactors that were quite ingenious. By 1927, Kirschner had refined the use of his metal pins. He used pins that had a much smaller diameter and were made of chrome-plated steel piano strings. These ranged from 0.7 mm (0.028 in) to 1.5 mm (0.062 or [1/16] in). These pins bear his name today, while his original pins are currently called ‘Steinmann pins.’” - A. E. Freeland and H.T. Bloom.
