About the course

The AOTEU Grant Writing Course offers the opportunity to acquire the
knowledge and hands-on skills to write successful grant applications.
Colleagues and faculty share their experiences in research and grant
writing.
The course includes a session with faculty that gives learners a unique
opportunity to receive professional advice on their particular clinical
study project.

*Learning objectives*

   - Describe the grant review process
   - Formulate a focused research question
   - Describe the different sections of a research grant application
   - Identify the preliminary data required to get a grant
   - Utilize appropriate search strategies to demonstrate your scholarship
   on the subject
   - Thoroughly describe the study design
   - Plan budget, material, methodology, and sample selection
   - Select the correct funding agency for your project
