SICOT Launches a New Open Access Journal:  SICOT-J


Recently the field of Orthopaedics has been sprouting with Open Access 
journals. One wonders about the quality and the future survivorship of 
these journals. That is why the International Society of Orthopaedics 
and Traumatology (SICOT) has taken upon itself to be present in this 
rapidly evolving field. Backed by a strong Editorial Board and seeking 
quality publications, SICOT-J has been launched.



SICOT-J is an Open Access journal which publishes original clinical, 
basic and translational research in the field of orthopaedic surgery and 
traumatology. Through peer review, SICOT-J will accept Review articles, 
Original articles, Research articles, Surgical Techniques, Case reports, 
Congress proceedings, Editorials and Letters to the Editor.



SICOT members will receive a discount on the fees for publication, but 
to encourage authors, publications in 2015 will be free of charge.



You may submit your articles to SICOT-J by visiting the website of the 
journal at www.sicot-j.org.  We hope that many of you will support the 
Journal .It is with your quality articles that the journal’s impact in
